Please select the same size thread for your lampholder and base plate if using together, i.e. 10mm or half inch. We highly recommend adding a switch to your flex rather than a switched lampholder so as to avoid rocking of the lamp holder.

If you have any metal components in your design they must be earthed. We have therefore only offered 3 core braided lighting flex for reasons of safety and for ease of wiring. Please do not select our Designer Linen or Sackcloth flex if using a Side entry Lampholder as it is a little wider than the others and does not easily go through the entry hole. Please consult a qualified electrician and have your design electrically tested.
