It’s been a great few weeks for us here at Lamps and Lights
with several mentions in the press and national magazines.
House and Gardens magazine are featuring some of our popular trendy light bulbs as part of their ‘Bang for your buck’ feature in the April/May issue. Photographed by beautifully Sarah Hogan, they were highlighted in Gabby Deeming’s stylish and thrifty scheme, packed full of decorating ideas and products that don’t pose a formidable threat to your bank balance.
Here’s what Homes and Gardens had to say
“Cambridge-based Lamps and Lights is a fairly young company but stocks a fantastic range of light fixtures and fittings for the home. Riding on the ubiquitous trend for utilitarian industrial design, much of the stock is easily recognisable, however is sold at a fraction of the cost of its competitors. Prices start from £3.50 for a lamp holder, with plugs and braided cord also available to complete a pendant.”
Fairly young? aww shucks thanks H&G, we’re very nearly 10 years young, but we’re still keeping it fresh! and our Plumen, Vintage, Squirrel and Crown Reflector bulbs all look stunning :)
Homebuilder and Renovations Magazine also featured us this month and highlighted our large Plumen bulb complete with black Bakelite lampholder and accessories plus my personal favourite, our positively pretty, Pink flex on their Interior Schemes: Lighting Features page (p.75 item 2, for those of you interested :-)
For those of you that like a bit of Hot Off The Press news:
we are soon to announce a new addition to our little lighting family ….
Our Large Plumen will shortly be welcomed by our new Baby Plumen, watch our website for up to date news, we will announce the arrival on our home page as soon as the wee one arrives!
… and not forgetting the extremely positive feedback we are getting from our last blog about Gary from Splashblade who is using our products to show off his own amazing new product: mood-shades.
An illuminating time for all !
