Lampshade reducing Rings available in brass, chrome, or white. If your lampshade or shade holder has an Edison screw size hole you can use this ring to make the shade fit a bayonet cap (BC) (29mm) lamp holder rather than an Edison screw (45mm) lamp holder. Your other option is to change the lampholder itself.
