Shade Carriers (sometimes known as gimbals) are used to hold a glass lightshade onto a table lamp. Our brass frames are available in vintage brass, polished brass and chrome finish. Uscrew the top finial, place your shade on the frame, replace the finial to secure, then use the lampholder's shade rings to secure the base.

15cm/6" Table lamp shade carrier available with brass, antique or chrome plated solid brass top and brass-plated steel frame. Used to carry a shade with a 25mm top hole. Attach to base with a lampholder shade ring. Suitable for a Bayonet Cap lamp holder only.

11cm/4¼" Light shade holder in 3 metal finishes used to carry a glass shade with a 25mm top opening for a table lamp. Attach to the lamp base with a lamp holder shade ring. Also known as a gimble or gimbal, this is suitable for a Bayonet Cap lampholder only.

Shade Spring Clips for lampshades with no rim. Place the spring's hole over your light fitting's 10mm or ½" allthread rod and secure with a lampholder. You can buy a reducer to take a ½" lampholder to 10mm from our Bits and Bobs page.
