Which lampholder, flex and switch do I need?
|
The conversion of Watts to Amps is governed by the equation Amps = Watts/Volts so if you
check how many Watts your fitting will be using, you can work out what amperage flex or switch you will need.
For example 60 watts/240 volts = .25 amps.
Useful source for further information.
If in doubt show a qualified electrician your fitting and they will be able to advise if our
flex/switch is suitable for your light fitting.

|
|
What are the specifications of your flex?
|
For all our flex specifications regarding diameter, voltage and wattage etc please see our Flex Data Sheet page.

How to attach a ceiling pendant?
|
This does depend somewhat on what ceiling you have and what weight of light you are hanging.
Basically though you need to drill 2 small holes in a pattress then put screws through into your ceiling.
If the light is heavy we would advise you get a builder to site the pattress so it will go directly into a ceiling joist.
You can also use special screws that flare out to get a better grip.

|

Our chain is only designed to take a weight up to approximately 5kg.
If you need to hang a heavy chandelier/light you will require a heavier
